The space
Three rooms in one. Each with its own light.
Sterling is a single 4,000 sq ft floor with a gas-fireplace loft above and a full kitchen behind the bar. Configure it for ceremony, dinner, dance, and quiet conversation — without ever changing buildings.
The main floor
Hardwood, skylights, and the restored garage door.
Open the garage door to the sidewalk and you've extended the room to the block. Close it and you've sealed in a cinema-scale 30-foot ceiling above polished maple — the cleanest 4,000 sq ft canvas in the Golden Triangle.
- 30-foot barrel-vaulted ceiling
- Hardwood floors throughout
- Skylights along both ridges
- Restored garage-door entrance
The loft
A gas-fireplace lounge above the room.
Up the steel staircase, a small loft holds a leather chesterfield and a working gas fireplace. The room above the room — for cocktail mingling, a quiet break, or an intimate second ceremony space.
“Super cute space for parties!”
The kitchen + bar
A full kitchen behind the 1261 bar.
External caterers stage here. BYO bar runs through the front. The 1261 letters above the bar are the same numbers on the door — a small detail that photographs every time.
- Full external-catering kitchen
- BYO bar — no markups, no minimums
- WiFi + PA system included

Most reviews of Sterling name me by first name — which I take as the closest thing to a job description.
I host every event personally. Planning calls, day-of timing, the question you didn’t know to ask. The space is yours; the planning is ours together.
If Sterling sounds like the right room for what you’re hosting, send me a note. I reply the same day.

Before you ask
The questions we hear most.
A quick read before your inquiry. Full details — capacity, accessibility, hours — live on the FAQ.
How much does Sterling cost?
Events are $270 per hour with a one-hour minimum. Production (film and photo shoots) is $175 per hour with a two-hour minimum. Bookings of eight hours or more get a 10% discount on either rate.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
Yes — BYO is allowed. Bring the bar you want; we don’t mark it up because we don’t serve it.
What is the maximum capacity?
Up to 150 guests standing. About 130 seated for dinner. The 4,000 square feet absorb crowds at either configuration.
Is there in-house catering?
No. Sterling is an external-catering venue. Bring the caterer you love. We have a full kitchen for them to stage in.
